  Introduction

Today we introduce to you a high airflow case from NZXT, build to match the current top on the market at and affordable price-range.

The Tempest product name is well deserved as this midsize ATX tower is packed with 120mm and 140mm fans, by default. The design is familiar to another high performance midsize tower, the Antec Nine Hundred, but with more bells and whistles, can it outperform the current champ?

NZXT has a wide variety of case styles in their product line-up, going from the all aluminium and high end Adamas to the flashier and steel/plastic combined Lexa. The Tempest is made from steel with a plastic front and has a more subdued style. Yes there are a few LED fans and LEDs installed, but even in full dark they are not intrusive.

To find out what’s under the hood, let’s look at the specs:

You read it correctly, four 120mm fans and two 140mm installed by default, with enough room left for a nice collection of 5.25” and 3.5” drive bays. The steel construction is very solid but does weigh slightly more than 11kg.
